I love the Arts! i am a songwriter with a M.A. from Marygrove College & employed by Hollywood, CA as a songwriter that loves art work.(& songwriting!) Although I have some publisized some enlightening photos, I have done some pen drawings that I am having framed. They are pretty cool, of buildings, objects etc.
I know....focus on my music, but j'adore le DIA. There is no place in any museum that one can walk into seeing art work displayed all around you muraled on the walls of the DIA. Van Gogh, Renoir, Rodin, historical periods with facaced presenting life yrs. ago depicting stellar art work. Exhibits such as the "Van Gogh" exhibit" showed detail forming masterpieces. The Egyptian exhibit with artifacts of historical eras broken up into dynasties also had afterlife accentuations to obtain their heaven. I remember...and remember the tomb of the "wealthly woman." Dreams I had about snakes ....and selling pottery etc.
There are so many memories of me meeting friends after taking the Jefferson bus to go to the DIA. But, again in my mind what can I do with this....make pen drawings...and appreciate.
For a young person going to the DIA it is a experience that enhances imagination, and growth of spirit if nothing less.
I appreciate the Arts. I send new material to the Performing Arts Copright Section of the L. Of C. at least 3 xs a yr. but never have I sent a collection of my artistry.of pen work on paper.
Maybe I should...
I appreciate the Arts!!
